The Rapace GTX is a lightweight mountain boot made of robust nubuck and abrasion-resistant textile material with waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining. The Rapace GTX combines the 3F system for ankle support and flexibility with an optimal fit. The Vibram Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole has a dynamic profile for good grip, while providing a natural running feel and secure grip in rocky terrain. SALEWA Bilight technology in the midsole guarantees ergonomic and durable cushioning for high comfort. At the same time, the Rapace GTX is firm enough for use with hybrid/semi-automatic crampons.
